These are events that happen every week. We know how disappointing it can be to show up for an event with your kids and have the doors locked or times wrong. We always include a phone number or website. Be sure to double check with organizers before making plans, especially during the summer months.

Pemberton Strong Start Program
Operates Monday - Friday 9-Noon am, for kids from birth to 6 years, at Signal Hill Elementary School It is a free program for parents and care providers and their children to play, dress up, create, learn, snack and socialize and enjoy daily circle time. For more info call 604 894 6101

Family Open Gym - unsupervised
Plenty of room lots of toys and a morning open for fun. Parent supervision is required. 11 am - 1 pm. Age 6 years and younger, with parent. $2 drop in per family. Pemberton Community Centre. 604-894-2340

Tuesdays

Scrabble and Chess Nights in Pemberton
Tuesdays are games day!

Chess Club meets after school 3:30-5:00 with Mr. Los coordinating and teaching basics to advanced strategy.  All ages welcome.Scrabble night begins at 5:00 and ends when the library closes at 7:00pm.  Again open to anyone, come by and see who's here for a game or two!

Healthy Pregnancy Outreach Program
The program runs a Cooking Club 11 am - 2 pm. Learn how to cook a nutritious meal, enjoy lunch and take home a meal for your family. Anyone who is pregnant until her baby is six months old who would like support and information may attend the program. You can bring a partner, friend or relative. No referrals required. Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday high school youth are invited to drop-in for video and board games, pool and air hockey, sports in the gym, music and the internet or just to hang out – it’s FREE!
Wed - Thursday, 3:30 - 6:00 pm | Friday, 3:30 - 11:00 pm | Saturday 7:00 - 11:00 pm.

Pemberton Community Chior
The Sparkle Choir (Grades 1- 3) rehears every Wednesday from 12:30 - 12:55 p.m. at Signal Hill Elementary School music room. The Pembertunes (Grades 4 - 7) rehearse every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5 pm at St. David's United Church in Pemberton. For more information, call Helen Pearson at 604-894-1520.
