Happy Birthday to the Museum! In the summer of 1986 Florence Petersen began fulfilling a promise made to Myrtle Phillip and Dick Fairhurst that their stories would not be forgotten. Phillip and Fairhurst were concerned that the early days of the valley would be forgotten entirely as skiing became the dominant activity.

These unique innovative drumming events are intended to help bring families together, relieve stress and encourage self-expression, communication and cooperation. Whistler. 7:30 am. The North Face Whistler Half Marathon has been labeled numerous ways by those who have run it: "the most scenic route", "best finish line food ever", "best volunteers" , "awesome spectators". Canada's hottest half marathon is nestled here in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia.

 This is the one event of the year that you can’t miss! Slow Food Cycle Sunday is pedal-powered trip up the beautiful Pemberton Meadows road. Along the way you will be able to meet local growers and farmers and sample fresh produce.
