The Whistler Spirit Run & Festival is a two-day cross-country and trail running event that takes place at Whistler Olympic Park and features something for everyone. As part of the Sea to Sky Trail Running Series, the Rubble Creek Classic takes runners up a gruelling 2915ft climb. Runners then proceed along the Helm Creek Trail through the Cinder Flats giving them epic views of the Black Tusk. Through the beautiful Taylor Meadows ending with the final knee jarring decent of 4015ft to finish at the Rubble Creek parking lot. 09:00
Off-Road Triathlon and Duathlon, full and half distance races, as well as a Kids of Steel race. Race is a mixture of lake swim, mountain bike and trail run. The event starts and finishes at Alice Lake. Recently named as one of the 20 Marquee Races to do in 2009 by Triathlon Canada Magazine. 10:00
