MAKE YOUR COMMUTE COUNT

The Whistler Way Commuter Challenge is a two-week, friendly, fun competition among participating businesses and organizations with the goal of reducing single passenger vehicle trips.
This includes encouraging people to switch from driving alone, as well as celebrating those who choose to use preferred modes of transportation on a regular basis.

2pm @ MOUNTAIN Square, Whistler (btwn Carleton Lodge & Hilton). Then at 3:30pm walk to the Muni open house - 4pm at RMOW (Municipality building behind Firehall)

The Toonie part of the name change is simple. The rides cost $2 with half of your entry fee will going into WORCA’s trail maintenance fund, and the other half  into a pot for the top riders — usually locals who are training for the nationals or even the World Cup, so they can use every cent they get.

Whistler Forum for Leadership and Dialogue presents Squamish author Graham Fuller, a former vice-chairman of the National Intelligence Council with the CIA, as he hosts a talk, discussion and book signing for his new book, The World Without Islam.  $10 donation at the door.
