Dusty's Bar & BBQ Whistler Creekside  The Canadian National BBQ Championships, taking place at Dusty’s Bar & BBQ in Whistler Creekside, is the highlight of the Pacific Northwest's competitive BBQ circuit and a tantalizing weekend of tasting and sampling.

Join WCSS in celebrating the 11th Birthday of our store, the Re-Use-It Centre. There will be new tagged clothing and unique collectibles and art outside the store as well as birthday cake. Inside the store take 50% off clothes and sporting goods!

The store will be open 11:00 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday.

The Whistler Way Commuter Challenge is a two-week, friendly, fun competition among participating businesses and organizations with the goal of reducing single passenger vehicle trips.
This includes encouraging people to switch from driving alone, as well as celebrating those who choose to use preferred modes of transportation on a regular basis.

The Whistler Arts Council (WAC) and its supporters are hosting a fundraiser for the Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake program on Sunday, September 12 at Nita Lake Lodge from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The fundraiser was initiated by two long-time Art Workshops participants, Bea Gonzalez and Lisa Geddes, in response to the budget cuts to the BC Arts Council and Gaming Grants.

The Whistler Spirit Run & Festival is a two-day cross-country and trail running event that takes place at Whistler Olympic Park and features something for everyone. This now-famous course starts at the Cheakamus Lake parking lot, climbs up Helm Creek, traverses the cinder flats towards Taylor Meadows - Garibaldi Lake and then drops to the Garibaldi/Rubble Creek parking lot. Sounds easy? Consider the grueling 2500 ft elevation gain followed by a 3500 ft drop!
